Collaborating closely with the client and aligning with their design aspirations, we found great satisfaction in participating in the evolution of an existing bungalow's design. The envisioned transformation encompassed a novel rear extension and the addition of a first-floor layout above the existing ground floor.
Central to our client's directive was the creation of a spacious, modern abode tailored to their bustling family lifestyle. The focal point of this endeavour was a generously proportioned open-plan kitchen and dining area that seamlessly flowed into a substantial rear garden. Leveraging the new loft conversion opportunity, we ingeniously crafted an internal balcony and a new master bedroom, complete with an expansive gable window that frames the exquisite garden scenery.
To enhance the overall aesthetic, we proposed an alluring blend of render and contemporary materials, yielding an appealing facade that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding streetscape. This design concept garnered a positive approval from the local authority, further enhancing the project's harmony with its environment.

A classic detached bungalow plot, we were tasked with generating a series of feasibility design options, as depicted through 3D visuals. The primary objective was to fashion an expansive internal living arrangement that seamlessly melds the kitchen, spacious dining area, and a convenient Utility/WC. Concurrently, a loft conversion was sought to supply additional bedrooms, addressing the needs of the growing family.
Embedded within the brief was the aspiration for a contemporary outer facade marked by generous spans of glass, underpinned by a commitment to top-tier sustainable materials. A key innovation lay in the inclusion of a custom-designed glazed atrium within the rear extension, introducing a fresh dimension to the space. Furthermore, the project entailed the refinement of the garden layout, accompanied by a bespoke barbecue enclave and a captivating water feature that seamlessly complemented the new design paradigm.
These endeavours collectively garnered an approval from the local authorities, standing as a testament to the project's seamless integration with its surroundings.

This project was not unlike the others in that the underlying brief was to design a space that could facilitate the requirements of a growing family. The property came with an existing planning application which was ambitious in it's scope for the number of required additional bedrooms. In light of this we were approached to minimise costs by reducing the amount of undue work required on the roof of the property and to change the internal layouts to better suit the clients needs, working with them to arrive at an amenable plan that could be split into two phases of construction. The first phase would focus on light touch internal changes and single storey extensions to meet the immediate extra sanitary and bedroom requirements. The second phase moves up to the first floor/ loft space to create additional bedrooms whilst keeping the overall structure of the roof simple, reducing the number of ridges and valleys.
Our focus during the design stage was to achieve as much of what was previously gained in other approvals whilst keeping the internal spaces spatious and bright. This was all however, underpinned by a need to phase the project to minimise costs but achieve much of what was required in the scope.
